CG dinner

Hey everyone,

In view of the upcoming arrow students' camp, we're thinking about having a CG dinner for those who are not going. Maybe God has something really great in store that He wants us to stay here for, so let's believe that =) Campers are definitely welcome, but if u guys are too tired it's alright.

It'll be held this coming Saturday, June 14, around 6pm until whatever time u all wanna stay so if u can make it do try to come =D

As for the place, we're open to suggestions so do include them in ur replies ya?

Board Games Day!!!!

YAY. im excited for the next board games day cos ihadsomuchfun the last time and i think the next one will be better!!!

meeting time: 1.30, at bishan bus interchange. (charles arent u the most lucky) hahaha.
bring: yourself and games plus junkfood.
what we're doing: playing games and watching movie, etc.

we might be having dinner together around the area too for those who can make it.

JC Cluster Meeting

There's Cluster Meeting this week instead of Caregroup.

Time: 7pm. Please be punctual.

The JC Cluster has been through a lot and God is not finished with us yet. Many things are in store for all of us and the past few months have only been the beginning of that. A lot of exciting changes to look forward to. God is moving!

Arrow Students' Service is this Saturday! It's the last chance to get tickets for The Zone before they are released to the public.

We'll be meeting outside the Rock at 1630 for pre-service. Come expectant to receive the Word that is for you in your current situation.

The Theme is SEE... I don't think there's a dresscode for that so no worries about being dressed out of theme. =D

Its nearing the end of April, our "why i go to church month"!

Incase u have not heard, in April, the topic that you can post about is to just tell us all why you go to church! Not only will all of us know you better, it could also inspire those who dont see the point of attending service, joining cgs, etc.
hurry, u have 3 more days to post it! then.. WE'RE GONNA START A NEW TOPIC! (nope, i know what ur thinking, dont wait till nxt month!!)

How to post:
first u have to give me ur email add u use for blogger, if not, just gimme any one. its fine!
then, i'll send u the invite, you accept.
log onto blogger then post! get it?? call me for blogging tuition if u have no idea. haha

thanks to all who have contributed so far, it has been deelightful to read/hear all thats been posted!

Other things u might like to know:
- Jo is designing out CG shirts so if u have any ideas/want to volunteer to help, let her know ok!
- The next own-initiated board games day is in the pipeline! yes, a day of playing. (risk risk! haha) so, do look out for it. anyone owns the game called cranium?? and, im kinda out of touch with the sch hols/exams. let me know if any is coming up so i can plan it better.

Cluster Activity

below are the details for the upcoming cluster event this Saturday (26th April 2008)

Meeting Time and Place: 3.30pm at Cityhall MRT.

Destination: SMU Business Block

For those who are coming late...
Directions: Business Blocks (located nearest to Raffles City)
- From CityHall MRT, come up the escalator, turn left and walk down straight all the way until you see the SMU Business Block
- Look for the "Concourse exit" at the Li Ka Shing Library. Go to B1 where there is a waterfall. Enter the glass doors where it is air-conditioned (there is OCBC bank inside).

It's not a sports event so dress casually. =D I won't give details on what we'll be doing but expect to be blessed.

Please revert your attendance either through this blog, through email or through sms. Prompt response is greatly appreciated.

Hello. well turns out there is some sort of a theme for saturday.

News has come in that the 'colour code' is.. *drumroll* Pink & Black! no prizes for guessing what colour the guys will be in. haha.
k, JO said it. i just relay the msg.

was wondering.. colour code means what? dress code? or the deco all pink & black? i dun want to turn up being able to camouflage in the room leh.

anyways, I WANT TO READ POSTS OTHER THAN MY OWN!! so pleaaaase dearest cg, type something. add something!! its " why i go to church" month on this southies blog so, do start writing if you have not. SHARE PEOPLE SHARE!!!

Then travel to Suntec Lvl 3, Rock Auditorium by 4.30pm.

We're 2 weeks old & ' Why i go to church' month

HELLO felllow southies!

This blog is.. 2 weeks old (only!) and look.. its so lively!! Thanks to all of you, you who tagged, posted, commented, and told everyone else abt this awesome blog!

So, as we all grow from glory to glory.. so does this blog. Some *New!* stuff are:
- more links! (yes please add if u got a blog too. ur viewership will definately increase)
- a new video.
- i wrote a welcome msg, feel free to alter it if u want.. :)
- counter ( u can see how many people come here. heh. any objections? i can just delete it. no problemo)
- labels for posts- so that we will have our posts organised incase we want to refer back to it..
- new Authors added for our blog!
- snippets of service ( thanks for being so automatic(zi dong) in writing about it!)

And.. heres the thing im most excited about. After a lil discussion.

we're starting a Theme for APRIL! Its.. " Why i go to Church" Month!

yeah. now.. all you who wanted to post but dont know what to post about, you know now;)

Why the theme? well, i just thought we can know each other better by starting this topic and.. hopefully inspire others who arent doing so, cos i believe its a great activity- infact the wisest thing to do in your life. SO.. please stagger your posts so readers wont have an influx of posts to read! u can save as draft first and when u realise no one has posted for the day yet, you can press "submit!".

Just a little note: do say whatever you want! and.. try not to judge why others say. And, it doesnt have to be really long. it can be just 1 para or sentence.. " i go to church to see the girls in jc south ( who can help it?)" etc.. know.. also can. so.. start thinking about it!!!

Our very first entry

Hi jc south! We finally have a blog! yay. Its still very new and im sure, still has a looong way to go. So.. i will need all your email addresses that you use for blogger so that i can add you as a contributor to this blog (tt means you can post!), and if you have any IT skills you can change the template.. etc etc.

SO what is this blog for?
Well, i thought it would be nice if we share a blog where we can put up pics, thoughts and rants on ALL the things we do together! Such that maybe 10 years down the road we can still talk about .. the day we laughed at a v. funny email from our leader orrr a really random unexplainable pic that six people actually posed for. wouldnt it be nice to look at how blessed we looked in our late-teenage early-aduthood days when we're old (thats if blogger is still around)? Also, it'll be a place for people who did not turn up catch up on whats happening/what they have missed. And not to mention.. to document how we've all grown from glory to glory in the Lord.. and the Godly alliance we've built with our fellow sisters and brothers in Christ.

the reasons are aplenty, and im sure the desire to start this blog will have a really good purpose that i may not be aware of.. SO, into His hands i place this blog. may it be a blessing for all!
