I donch kneow hmph

Have you ever encounted very irritating (to me) questions that was-believers have??

[was-believers: people who were in christanity, knows versus! but just, the skewed way. now doesnt believe at all OR, knew god someway but now not]

Everytime you try to tell them how awesome our God is and they have many many other things to say to prove to you that "god doesnt exist!!",or just have so many things to contradict what you say.

My problem is... sometimes i also cannot answer! and its very unsettling.

e.g. " God is made up by people." i mean, the bible Is written by people rite?.
or, somethig like.. god is the holy spirit, and since the holy spirit lives in us, god lives in us- we are god. :O soomething like that. or, "i do something bad and the bible says im forgiven, but thats the thing.. i dont want to be forgiven! i dont want to feel like im making use of God." *strangles speaker* i can dig my brain for more if u want. haha.

it seems like everyone i know at some time or another has got to know God, but has many questions abt it (which i think is perfectly normal) but then is overwhelmed by doubt and thus concludes that.. God doesnt exist.

i dunno, i think we need bible study, u know. a place to trash out all these BS and learn properly. or is it just me? like, u must be thinking now.. " cant believe u dont know!" haha.

someone pls enlighten me.

altho, i do agree as Jo reminded me " dont nd to throw pearls to the swines". we shouldnt concentrate on these ( OF COS) but its just weird that im kinda clueless.

do gimme ur 22cents worth!

just asphyxiate (strangulate) them. hahaha maybe they'll see the light at the end of the tunnel and have a hopefully near-enough death experience. gah.

kidding aside... i don't know.

we need a place to thrash these things out, i agree.

and a funny thing, i just watched desperate housewives season 4 episode 11, which DID address the issue of Faith and belief as much as it could w/o compromising on the entertainment [there, christainment again].

Bree acknowledges in the end that faith is not "threatened by asking questions" but is instead, "strengthened". The scene concludes with her having a heartfelt talk to seeker and cancer/tornado-survivor Lynette Scavo, Bible opened on laps and all.

My point being, there's no need to feel condemned or anything for any seeming ignorance (eg "u mean u christian so long still dont know mehhhh?!?!!" blah blah) but just be secure in the faith that God has accorded to you. however mastard-seed small, it can move mountains or pseudo ones:)

God bless and catch that episode if you can.

"Christ the Son of God became Man, that you, mere man, might become sons of God"

hi dave, ur comments are ever so entertaining to read. eh, davetaintment. lol. but nonetheless helpful:) thx!
u watched desperate housewives?? where?how? nice rite! sometimes i also learn something from it. like how it concludes with the narration. haha.

interesting how questions can increase faith for some and decrease for others. i think, it depends a lot on the answer.

just, i feel kinda sad for people who had it once. its like they did know God one time or another and perhaps, like, they still got a chance, still got hope know. maybepart of them still get it. thats why if i think those doubts are cleared, they could believe once again.
