Last Sunday's Message part 1

John: 5:45
Do not think that I shall accuse you to the Father; there is one who accuses you—Moses, in whom you trust.

"accuse" in greek--> a plantiff/ prosecutor, charge someone with an offence.

Colossians 2:13-15
13And you, being dead in your trespasses and the uncircumcision of your flesh, He has made alive together with Him, having forgiven you all trespasses, 14 having wiped out the handwriting of requirements that was against us, which was contrary to us. And He has taken it out of the way, having nailed it to the cross. 15 Having disarmed principalities and powers, He made a public spectacle of them, triumphing over them in it.

"the handwriting of requirements" refers to the 10 commandments God wrote on 2 tablets of stone.

Pastor said the word "disarmed" suggests that before cross, the wimpy devil was armed. But armed with what? THE LAW!! It used the law which is holy just and good against us. How? By using it to ACCUSE us of our sins, wrongdoings, failures etc. That is why satan is called the ACCUSER of the brethen. So the only voice of accusation we hear today is that of the devil's. So before he can even throw lemons at us, he have to accuse us first because he has NO RIGHT to harm us anymore( he's disarmed, remember?). and if we accept the accusations, uh-oh!! We'll be like putting the law back into it's hands. so DONT=]

Isaiah 54:17
In righteousness you shall be established;You shall be far from oppression, for you shall not fear; And from terror, for it shall not come near you.

Today the wimp has no right to accuse us because we have be ESTALBLISHED in RIGHTEOUSNESS by the blood of Jesus. We're like a piece of wihte paper with no black spots!=]

It's not just righteousness but WHOSE righteousness are we established on.

Romans 8:33-34
Who shall bring a charge against God’s elect? IT IS GOD WHO JUSTIFIES. 34 Who is he who condemns? IT IS CHRIST WHO DIED, and furthermore is also risen, who is even at the right hand of God, who also makes intercession for us.

Oh i LOVE THIS VERSE!! haha We're established on GOD's righteousness, not our own!!! and if GOd is perfect, HOW CAN HIS RIGHTEOUSNESS NOT BE PERFECT? HOW CAN HIS RIGHTEOUSNESS GIVE ROOM FOR SATAN TO ACCUSE US? If God is the one who justifies us and Chsit is the one who died of us? WHO ARE WE TO EVEN SAY I DONT DESERVE THE BLESSINGS OF GOD!!??=]
